School start up on Monday...  It's Saturday night (technically Sunday morning (12:41)).  My inner clock is screwed, but I have church in the morning so I figure trimming 2-3 hours of my sleep should get me to bed earlier and effectively get me on the right time.

Also, I'm really hating school for 2009...  I'm not back yet and it's already annoying.  You know how college kids have break for another 2 weeks... yeah that would be nice. :/

And thus it begins

And so it began, what was perhaps the coolest week ever. While yesterday provided nothing to rave about, today not only did Joshua Radin's new album Simple Times come out (go download it), but so did the iTunes 8 upgrade, which is pretty sweet, not to mention NBC signed back with iTunes, and re-put up their shows. And in the process added a free ep of The Office, 30 Rock, Heroes, Psych, Monk, and some other shows I don't care about. Not to mention SNL season one eps for $1.

Tomorrow in Film Studies we're going to begin 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Brad and I are fans of Stanley Kubrick, so that's awesome.

Miracle Worker auditions are Thursday, so that's always exciting.

Burn After Reading, the new Coen Bros. movie is out Friday, and that also looks good, but the real deal is Saturday...

When Brad, Danny, Dad, and I catch CHEECH AND CHONG LIVE AT THE WARNER THEATER!!! (10 o'clock show) not to mention we know where the stage door is, so we're going to see if it's not possible to catch the two of them after the show which would be strait up BA.

School?

The second week is half over, auditions are in a week, and Uta Hagen's bugging me with my inability to figure stuff out (but it's basically figured out so it's cool). I'm trying to make work (The Loft, not writing and filming) easier on myself, but that sorta fell short.

Anyhow, the only reason I really felt like posting was the fact that we watched Taxi Driver in Film Studies, and there's this great scene where DeNioro's zoned out in a chair watching TV while Late For the Sky is playing, which is just sweet! I love that song so much more now.

Great movie... Also, Brad, Dad, Danny and I are going to see CHEECH AND CHONG!!! on the the 13th, and we're super psyched!

Hola, this is my first serious post since the 2 Breaking Dawn stories.  So here I sit at the computer, 11:30 at night after a crazy day at work... Let me just say that I have a new respect for ice sculptors, and by that I mean, I spent at least an hour chiseling the ice out of the freezer.  fun times were had.

I finally got an AP Comp essay finished, which unlocked "George Carlin: It's Bad For Ya" Which I am listening to now, funny man, also brilliant.

So I plan to audition for The Complete Works Of Shakespeare (abridged) this week, should be a fun experience if I can get a part.  I've also found out that the school play is "The Miracle Worker" which I had Mom pick up the script for today, so I plan to get a read out of that too.  I also had her check out the 1st season of Arrested Development from the library, which I plan to check out after I'm done listening to George Carlin's last show.

So here I sit, a Thursday, and I'm NOT at work? Double You Tee Eff? So anyway, why no work? because I have pick up rehearsal, for Mattress, with no costumes, which means I'm free to wear my green shirt, and not the average black attire. I'll hopefully drive tonight, and we can listen to the Walk Hard Soundtrack.

I've been on and off writing an essay for AP comp today, my attention span dies pretty fast for school essays, but I've added an element of humor to my essay to keep it more interesting. It's about whether or not we should have corporate sponsorship in our schools, I'll reveal the humorous twist once I've turned it in. Once I get this done Mom's going to give me the George Carlin CD I asked for, so that's some incentive.

Other than that, there's not much new going on, Weekend=nothing, except work and mattress no new movies are coming out, at least non I'm to interested in. I want to goto the columbia mall sometime soon, that way I can pick up either Final Cut express for my Mac, or the upgrade to OSX Leopard, or both, but I'd have to cash some checks first. Accepted...

I missed this movie when it was in theaters, but that's my parents fault "blah blah blah... PG-13" I was probably 14 when it came out! I'm just glad I don't have that problem anymore.

Anyway, I never expected this movie to be nearly as good as it was. MAC's in it and so's Jonah Hill, and he had a big role, but wasn't really recognized for it, it was probably one of his first movies, but if you compare him then to now, man he's lost weight... But enough about Jonah Hill...

Accepted centers around Mac (that's what I'm calling him because he's the guy who plays the mac in the mac ads, plus the characters first name is something like bumburklebee) who gets rejected from every college he applies to. So in response to his own failure, makes up a college, the South Harmon Institute of Technology (SHIT for short). It's hailed as the Animal House of our generation (but I personally like Animal House more, that's just the way I am) but I did catch the occaisional homage to Animal House in Accepted. It's really funny, and clever, and has a surprisingly heartwarming ending. I liked it a lot, and a big thanks to Tori for recomending it.

So I apparently got all A's this past term... 100%, 90%, 90%, 97%. I don't know how the hell it happened, but you take what you can get.

would be Monday, and I'm honestly slightly uplifted by that. The thing is I have a lot going through my mind now, and I should be busy enough tomorrow that I'll be pleasently distracted from other things. I have a test in Pre-calc on tuesday, and I think I know what I'm doing, but my given test track record isn't the best :/

So I leave for New York again on Thursday, and given the things going on now it seems to be a theme that I'm really sick of being where I am right before I goto New York. Long story short, I just need to get out of here and clear my head for a while...

A Public Denouncement...

Of Math. What the hell is it anyways, a bunch of numbers, once you get past counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and deviding it becomes nothing more than made up bullcrap. Once you throw letters in there it's nothing more than theories. So why do I suck at math? BECAUSE IT ISN'T GODDAMN REAL!!! Why can I do well in history, because that stuff actually happend, while math has a tendency to change just about every few minutes. There's more than one way to do just about every problem out there, creating a vast array of answers and only one is right. Well screw that! You know what's also flawed about math? Why the hell are Tests and Quizes worth 80% of our grades, that's total crap! Not everyone's good at tests and in no way can one test show your understanding of the "Concepts" you just learned about. Not to mention it's total shit that they think now a days in the real world you won't have any access to a calculator or "simple" equations. DAMN IT!

Why this sudden outburst of rage? well here's the deal, Tests already screwed me over and we had another one today, where I first get stuck with the No Calculator section. By the time I'm done with that there had to be no more than 15 minutes left in class. So I go up to get the calculator part. And looky here, I get 3 problems finished and almost done with a fourth when the bell rings. So I'm stuck turning in a test that wasn't even half finished, and I know I wasn't the only one. But I swear to god, if Livergood grades them as is, god knows what I'll do, but I promise you it won't be pretty.

New York New Yoork!

Is where I'll be all day friday. If I might add, it's a pretty big relief, I need to get away for a little while, and although dads coming, New York with some of my favorite people will be a very welcome break. Why? because my life's to crazy right now. The real problem lies in Pre-Calc, and it's quite the problem since Dad's well trained in the field of Calculus, so it's like now that I'm not doing well, it's like homework procedures and study madness. I can remember lines and historical facts and all that jazz, but when it comes to these dumb equations, I just can't seem to grasp it. I mean, if i is imaginary, how do I know it really just means -1, if it's truely an imaginary number it should mean whatever I want it to. But that's besides the point, I'm just going nuts, and it's the things that seem least important (in the long run) are the most important to me, Work, Plays (although I do plan to make acting my career), etc. And I'm just going to come out and say it, like work, and I have fun there, sure it's serious a lot, but I work with some really great people. And I don't want to lose all of that over a stupid math class. The problem with the class is that my teacher goes over things to quickly with minor explanation, enough that I can get the concept, but still be left completely lost with some aspects, give me a week and I can get it, give me a test and I somehow forget it. And the real dilema is that though my teacher has his flaws, I like him (not like that you pervs), he's a pretty funny guy.

Anyway onto the innitial topic of this post, New York trip is friday. We leave at 6, and arrive later in the day, when we'll get a tour of Mary Mount Manhattan, Then we'll be hang out and eating in Central Park, and then onto a musical theatre class with the cast of Curtains. Then some other stuff, and at night we will see Curtains, and then get a talk back with the actors. Yay.

So yeah, that's about it.

Oh and now that Awards season is over, below is a list of movies I want to see, I won't go in depth but I'll provide a video, and the name, and a brief description of why I want to see it, so here we go...
There Will Be Blood


Now I've wanted to see this for a while now, Paul Dano's in it, and I loved him in Little Miss Sunshine. Not to mention, there's something cool about Daniel Day Lewis's character. Not to mention its been getting good reviews. But one of the main aspects of the movie that have gotten my attention can be seen below... (warning minor spoilers)

I seem to reference this scene everyday, and unfortunatly no one seems to get it because they haven't seen this.

No Country for Old Men

Now I wasn't to interested in this at first, but it's large amount of nominations and best picture win,has really peaked my interest. It just looks interesting, unfortunatly it's not in theaters anymore, so I'll have to wait for the DVD.

Once

I passed this up in theaters, but I had seen a live performance of 2 songs from the film on both the independent spirit awards, and the academy awards, and I've basically fallen in love with the music. Besides apparently my good buddy Dean saw it an loved it, so I plan to pick this up some time soon.

I'm Not There

I just love Bob Dylan, and I really love the concept in this film. Not to mention I really want to see Cate Blanchett's portrayal of Dylan.

First of all Martin Sheen kind of reminds me of Mark (my boss) I think it's the voice. Anyway I like this concept, and boy do I dig the fro's. Of course, my interest in this movie has quite possibly evolved from my love of Parliament Funkadelic.

Mixed Emotions

First of all, I was informed by TV Guide which published that there would be a new Scrubs spoofing Montey Python tonight (it wasn't a joke they had production pics, and such). Well guess what, NBC decided to pull a fast one on me and instead air a 2 hour celebrity apprentence (AKA Crap hour times 2). In all honesty I'm absolutly pissed about this, it completely brought my day down. But hey the Trump may be an Attention Whore, but he shall have none of mine. So I apologize to those I told the edisode was tonight. END THIS WRITERS STRIKE FOR CHRISTS SAKE!!!

In other news, Rock Band has finally been confirmed for the Wii, which brough my mood back up.

However, the "You're a good man Charlie Brown" cast list goes up tomorrow, so I'm pretty phyched/worried about that. Also tomorrow night the Beatles Cover band 1964 is playing at the weinburg, anyone up for some good music?

Speaking of The Beatles, I know a lot of people don't like Ringo's music, but please pick up Liverpool 8, it's got so many good songs. (oh wow, this is a first for the week, I haven't listend to Parliament Funkadelic all day).

Oh also, at the time I'm skeptic about my success in Pre-Cal, it just doesn't seem to exist all that much, (Thanks a lot Ms. Thamert (My Algebra 2 teacher who taught us nothing but Algebra one for the whole semester except the last month)) although I'm sure once we get passed reviewing that I'm sure things'll look up.

Mac OS X Leopard, and stuffs.

So Apples coming out with Mac OS X Leopard. And I'm thinking come on Apple, I haven't even been able to set up the internet on my Mac. So while I'm deffinatly considering buying my family a new router, you decide to put out some whole new update to the Mac software, that costs $129!?! While a router would cost around $90. Not to mention there are some pretty sweet games comming out this fall. ARGG!!! Although Smash Bros did get puched back so that's one less thing to worry about.

Speaking of things costing money, I am working extra this week so that should help some. I work 4-9 on Tuesday, I work 4-9 tonight, I'm covering for Danniel tomorow so she can go to Homecomming (because I'm such a gentleman), and I work from 8-4 Saturday Morning because I'm going to See Colin Mocherie and Brad Sherwood that night. What a crazy week.

To add onto the crazyness, I have Lines to memorize, The entire novel "Frankenstien" to read and write an essay about before Halloween, and well I have no idea what else, but it's deffinatly there.

Monday, well here I sit listening to Paul Simon wishing it was friday. ARG. I have work tomorow, AA and Guitar on Wednesday, and Work on thursday but friday, friday is "across the universe awsome day" So yeah this week needs to speed up. By the way school pics tomorow. Woo! but not really because I don't care much for school picturing.

That's right, the interview went just swell and I was hired on the spot. I start of thursday from 4-10. Sadly though I will most likely be working on Tuesdays so I can't make it to TCBS most weeks, but I'll come when I can.

In other news I just realzed I have more homework than I thought, that most certainly is a pain in my buttocks. Danny and I need to get around to both reviewing Metroid Prime 3 and seeing Superbad, and the fact that we've taken so long to do both is incredibly annoying. To back it up I feel horibly guilty for not getting around to making a Metroid Prime 3 banner for the site, although as some of you know my computer that the scanner works on crashed so getting it on the site would be difficult anyway. ARGG!!! I can't wait for next weekend so we can finally (hopefully) see Superbad and review metroid. Oh and Nintendo has a confrence planned for Wednesday so they better say whethe or not Smash Bros has online. Also I've been thinking about getting some more people together and doing a podcast for the site. YAY!

Wiggedy what!?!

Well today's been swell, I forgot to ask what subject I was doing my research project on, so I had to E-mail Laz Just a second ago, in English I had to finish and essay but I E-mailed it to myself so I could do it here (and it worked) so I ended up writing the Dirctors Cut of the paper, and sent it here along with a resume that I would have fixed in class had she had the revisions ready, the only problem is that my when I E-mailed the Resume and Directors Cut here, the E-mail didn't go through, so I have to rewrite the whole resume, and I'm not sure if out version of word has the resume outline... Damn! Also I would have posted some of the Directors Cut here, but I'll have to do that later. During German I had a Spliting headache, but now everythings fine and I'm going camping in the woods with Rusty, Bobby, Floriough (I speake no franchesko) Mellissa and some other girls. WOO!

Let's Just hope I'm not Canteen Boy, and Rusty's not a creepy Alec Baldwin...

AGR! SCHOOL!

yup, except schools fine. The only thing I'm annoyed with is my crazy bus driver. She said that Cell phones weren't allowed, and she litterally told someone today "no screaming out the window or you'll lose your window privlages!" I'm worried that she'll cover the windows with black construction paper if it happens again. Her rediculous-ness alone gives me more motivation to get a car. I also got all my references for my Pet Loft application, all I need to do now is go in for an interview. Oh by the way the word verifacation right now is "potno" sounds like subliminal advertising to me.

BEST TV SHOW EVER

Superbad premiere and Day 7

Last night we went to the SuperBad premiere, we stood across the street while people showed up and walked down the red carpet, David spade showed up, but was too elusive to be seen. I'll post the pics when I get back.

Today we're hanging around the house until the afternoon, when we're going to go to the high schooll musical 2 premiere. I guess that's kinda cool, I'm not really a HSM fan. Oh, and a special thanks to Mrs. Perper for E-mailing me my schedule, below are my classes.
