The End

Not of this blog, but as a prominent driving force in it, Scrubs.

Tonight was the last episode of the season (and hopefully the series, it needs to end on that note). The ending of course was brilliant, and I teared up at numerous point. To put things into the words of my wonderful girlfriend Hillary, who joined me for the final episode, "I thought I was going to have to be the man and wipe away your tears." Dr. Cox's confession of how he actually felt about JD really got to me. And then in the very end we had an absolutely brilliant look into the future.

JD's left Sacred Heart, and I'm not going to rant about how the possibility of another season annoys me, but instead I'm going to rave about my love for Scrubs.

You know I visited the set, this show gave me the most relatable character in JD that I've ever found on TV. Scrubs has been there to cheer me up when I was down, and just make me even happier when I was already there. I'd tune into it and somehow the episode that aired would give me the advise I needed. Scrubs has truly been a gift in my life. I've laughed, I've cried. TV show's never make me cry, with this beautiful exception. I love Scrubs, thank you so much Bill Lawrence for creating these characters. So eight wonderful seasons later, it's seemingly over. I've commented on how I've missed shows from the past, but this one will stand out above the rest.
Goodbye Sacred Heart, I will never forget you!

Live from my blog, it's Saturday night!

Hello, it's currently 11:38 at night and the sky is clear, I know where I'll be sleeping!

I worked for the first time since I got back, and got 2 nice paychecks.  Not a bad workday...

Other than that I've spent most my entire time home watching Scrubs on the youtube.

yeah, one of the good episodes of my day, I'll post others as time goes by.

Tomorrow, Brad, Danny, and I are going to see Step Brothers, and toss back and fourth some movie ideas.  Well, that's it for now, I remember thinking more to write but not know.... Oh WAIT!  Yesterday, Mom, Dad, and I went to see The X-Files Movie and it was pretty good, I think you'd have to watch the show to enjoy it more, because it wasn't really your stereotypical X-Files.

Slip Slindin' Away

Well, here I am.  It's 7:11 in the morning, I'm up at 6:30 due to the sun.  Mom thinks it's a bad thing that I don't get back in bed when I come inside, but honestly, I disagree.  Anywho, hammock sleeping is really nice, I just can't get over how much it can calm me down before I goto sleep (and wasn't even that stressed last night).  And, besides how many people can have the satisfaction of being able to say that they know for a fact that in the night sky over the past 2 nights, the Big Dipper has moved up in the sky and rotated slightly.  It's the simple things that really help calm things down.

I watched The Brothers Solomon last night, and it was pretty funny, not one of the best, but still a good laugh.

So what is it, Thursday?  yep.  Well, I work tonight, the biggest downside is now I realize I'm working 3 days in a row.  Woo, I enjoy work but not to that extent, so hopefully I'll survive long enough for me to escape from here and to VA, where I should find a pleasant escape from everything here, which is much needed.

Also, I love JD, he's probably the most relate-able guy on television (for me at least).  Sometimes I feel just like this (not today... well at least not yet).

Welcome back Mr Cole

I have returned from work camp, with a roof about 80-90% completed (as other people worked on 4 other houses).  So yeah we accomplished a lot.  I had a good time (minus the restless nights, but what would I be if I didn't stay up late thinking about things? (probably well rested teehee)).

So yeah, I'm back, I've been listening to Jackson Browne a lot lately... there's just something about his music.  I don't know how to feel about things that go on, and I've felt kinda numb lately, but at the same time not as much... I'm like Andrew Largeman, but probably more stressed (watch Garden State for crying out loud!).  I'm downloading an episode of Scrubs as we speak... It's one that I've been looking for for a long time now.

We finally got Digital Cable... Which is sweet for my Summer of movies as we now have on demand, and I can watch free movies whenever I want... I think I may take advantage of this tomorrow.

SPEAKING OF TOMORROW... I got a call from Sam while I was bowling last night and now I'm working the day shift tomorrow instead of the night shift... I'm not sure how to feel about it, seeing as the day shift is often more stressful, which seems to be my minds favorite thing these days.  But hey at least I have a free Saturday night for once, of course I'll probably be doing the same thing I'm doing now, so it's not that exciting.

Yup I think that's a good update for now...  I get paid tomorrow, so that's more money to the sasha fund... Woo!  This is the one I'm looking at getting. Either in blue or green, I have plenty of time to figure it out.

Side note... my family thinks that the scene with Steve Carell in Get Smart on the moped encouraged me... but they're wrong... just check this...

HOLY FRICKIN' UPDATE BATMAN...
Same site, but a scooter that looks just like Sasha!  I may now have 200 higher goal in the sasha fund... but 100% worth it!

Things are going quite well in the life of Kevin...

It's currently a Saturday Morning at 10:30 and I'm here in my PJs, I plan to get up and take a shower when this is all good and done.

Anywho, thing are going well. Works fun, and we go into tech week this week for Charlie Brown, which leads to me missing work, which when written down on paper it seems like I'm missing a lot, but I only really need to be covered for 4 days, the others I just can switch and such activities.

Dad asked my why I failed to mention Impact or New York in my last blog, and that's simply because I forgot. New York was a bundle of Fun, we saw Young Frankenstien, Curtains, Mama Mia, and (against my wishes as Spring Awakening Tickets were availiable at TKTS) Mary Poppins. All were quite good, except Mary Poppins seemed to drag on a tad.

Impact was fun to, I spent a good amount of time admire the beards of "Ashes Remain" They had some very nice beards. A video (or two, I have A LOT of footage) should be up within the week, but again I'm very busy so we'll see.

SCRUBS RETURNS ON THURSDAY!!! Which makes Thursday National Wear Scrubs Day. Well I think that's about it for now except I'm now determined to find and see the movie below...

Also, I seem to have the urge to say Merry Christmas as a way of saying goodbye, I'm not sure why but I do.

So Merry Christmas everyone!

Mixed Emotions

First of all, I was informed by TV Guide which published that there would be a new Scrubs spoofing Montey Python tonight (it wasn't a joke they had production pics, and such). Well guess what, NBC decided to pull a fast one on me and instead air a 2 hour celebrity apprentence (AKA Crap hour times 2). In all honesty I'm absolutly pissed about this, it completely brought my day down. But hey the Trump may be an Attention Whore, but he shall have none of mine. So I apologize to those I told the edisode was tonight. END THIS WRITERS STRIKE FOR CHRISTS SAKE!!!

In other news, Rock Band has finally been confirmed for the Wii, which brough my mood back up.

However, the "You're a good man Charlie Brown" cast list goes up tomorrow, so I'm pretty phyched/worried about that. Also tomorrow night the Beatles Cover band 1964 is playing at the weinburg, anyone up for some good music?

Speaking of The Beatles, I know a lot of people don't like Ringo's music, but please pick up Liverpool 8, it's got so many good songs. (oh wow, this is a first for the week, I haven't listend to Parliament Funkadelic all day).

Oh also, at the time I'm skeptic about my success in Pre-Cal, it just doesn't seem to exist all that much, (Thanks a lot Ms. Thamert (My Algebra 2 teacher who taught us nothing but Algebra one for the whole semester except the last month)) although I'm sure once we get passed reviewing that I'm sure things'll look up.

In other Scrubs related news, Last night I found out that Ted's A Cappella band on the show is a real band called "The Blanks" Their page can be found here.
Infact have a video of them...

Well I think that's it for today.

Goodnight, and goodluck.

Happy Halloweens and such.

I was a staph infection, I'll post pics later. In more important news, Kim had the baby and pretty much ended her relationship with JD tonight. But I just wonder how much of that not relationship will continue, part of me think it should because as JD has stated there is a kid involved, but gosh do I want to see JD and Elliot together by the end of the series.

That's really all I wanted to say, except the Office was hillarious tonight as well.

I LOVE THIS SONG!

Mac OS X Leopard, and stuffs.

So Apples coming out with Mac OS X Leopard. And I'm thinking come on Apple, I haven't even been able to set up the internet on my Mac. So while I'm deffinatly considering buying my family a new router, you decide to put out some whole new update to the Mac software, that costs $129!?! While a router would cost around $90. Not to mention there are some pretty sweet games comming out this fall. ARGG!!! Although Smash Bros did get puched back so that's one less thing to worry about.

Speaking of things costing money, I am working extra this week so that should help some. I work 4-9 on Tuesday, I work 4-9 tonight, I'm covering for Danniel tomorow so she can go to Homecomming (because I'm such a gentleman), and I work from 8-4 Saturday Morning because I'm going to See Colin Mocherie and Brad Sherwood that night. What a crazy week.

To add onto the crazyness, I have Lines to memorize, The entire novel "Frankenstien" to read and write an essay about before Halloween, and well I have no idea what else, but it's deffinatly there.

NEW OFFICE, EARL AND, 30 ROCK TONIGHT!!! NEW SCRUBS NEXT WEEK!!! But the next 2 SNLs are reruns from this season, BooHoo.:(

Oh Stephen Colbert's running for president, and you all better vote for him, or America may very well be screwed come 09, he's pretty much the ONLY man for the job. And when I say that don't point to Hillary Clinton, because don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with a woman president, just please, a woman who isn't her.

Well I think that's a sufficiant blog for today.

My Scrubs set visit.

When we ariced at the North Hollywood hospital we asked about getting in and the security guard said we could in about half an hour. Today was a special day when they wraped up filming around noon. ANYWHO! On our way in we met Donald Faison (Turk) outside on the way to his car. We got a picture with him and let him on his way (he's a busy man and was talking on his cellular device). When we got in we made our way to the 3rd floor of the hospital which was the main office for the show. And low and behold in the halway we faced was 3 men and a woman. One Man was Zach Braff (hero) the shows creator, Bill Lawrence, and two unnamed people (who will be revealed shortly). Soon after Zach Braff started walking in our direction, so we asked him for a picture, and he of course posed with me and my sister, we shook hands and he too went on his way. Then Bill came over and introduced himself, so I got a picture with him as well. He then introduced the two other people from the hallway, one was the real JD, a JD who was infact a doctor and who the pilot episode was based off of. And now he manages all the realistic aspects of the show.

On to the set tour! Any way the set wasn't really a set, as much as it is a real hospital. We learned about how they had to repaint areas of the set before and after they finished filming each season because they only leased the hospital and didn't own it. The Coffee Bucks set is actually built into the hospital, one day they just took out a wall and started to put in a fake coffee shop. We went to the cafeteria where they film the cafeteria scenes, but they also will turn it into other sets sense it's one of the biggest rooms. There was one room that only had 3 arcade machines in there, (NBA jam, Spy Hunter, and Paperboy) These were Zach's machines which he brought from his own home and put in the room so people could go there to blow off steam and such (how cool is that). We met one guy who's basically incharge of lighting, and we saw him hanging out the window yesterday, and wewaved to him and he waved back, and apparently he told the creator "There looks like there's a real nice family outside" and Bill said "well go get them" so apparently he came outside to get us but he couldn't find us because by that time yesterday we had alreaddy left. ANYWAY, back to the set. The First floor of the hospital is huge, but we went into one section where they have Turk and Carla's appartment, which was actually built into part of the hospital, and there were parts of the hospital which they would just turn into other sets like like Elliots home, and inside a stomach. But they apparently never really leave the hospital for filming because everything the need is there. They said they got about 6 pages of filming done per day, and on rare occaisions when they shoot on location they only get like 2 pages done, and it's cheaper to just build things around the hospital then film on location. We also saw the morgue (in the basement) which only had 2 body closets (and apparently during Season 1 there was a bet going to see who could stay in them the longest). We also saw the Hospital Lobby, the staff chill out room (both in the show and where extras wait), and Doctor Coxs appartment. They're hard to describe, so I'll post pics when I get home (my cousins computer is slow so it takes to long to upload pics.)

Thanks for Reading!!!

By the way, this is the scene where they had to film inside a stomach...

Day 9

Going back to the scrubs set today. Wish me luck!

Day 9

My time is short so I must be brief... We're going to the WB studio tour, then we're of to the north Hollywood hospital, where I plan to hunt down the cast of Scrubs! Wish me luck.

[UPDATE] Well we went to North Hollywood hospital, and we talked to security who said we couldn't get in (of course) but often people can ask, and they'll get to go on a tour, but not today because things had been running on a tight schedule that day. So we're hopefully heading back tomorow. YAY!!!

NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

My god, I can't believe this just happend. Laverne died, she was brain dead so her family took her off life support so all they could do was wait for her to die. God why!!!! I'm just so far in shock I'm quaking as I write this, she's gone, I just can't believe it. I cried, I really did, in that last scene where Carla was talking to laverne about all she had done for her, I just broke down and I couldn't control myself. This has to be the saddest night I've had so far in my short life. I just can't believe it.

Rest In Peace Laverne:

Scrubs, Sonic and Mario, and any other random thoughts that cross my mind.

Well Some very happy news for us Scrubs fans. Today Zach Braff was awsome enough to write up a new blog, where he states that he's signed for another season, so all we need now is for NBC to renue the series. But if they don't he said ABC actually owns the series and they would pick it up if NBC doesn't so they could have a final season. But hope fully NBC will renue so we'll have atleast 2 more seasons. He also said that there are about 9 episodes left this season, so I pose the question that's on all our minds. WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO LAVERN!!!

Also this week Nintendo and Sega announced "Mario and Sonic at the Olympics". This is wonderful news basically because as we all know Nintendo and Sega used to be how Nintendo an Sony are today partially because "Genesis does what Nintendon't" (sega's old ad campaign) But now they are working together in harmony. This is just big news for that reason, and that's the reason I'll be buying it, because I'm not much of an olympics fan but Sonic and Mario together at last. Perfect! Any way I had this awsome picture idea where Mario was lighting the olympic tourch with a fire ball and Sonic standing next to the torch perhaps running around it to make some kind of flamming tornado. I might have to do the tornado sense drawing Sonic from behind seems nearly impossible, but when I get the picture done I'll post it for all to see.

I haven't seen Borat or 300 yet but I only hear good things and I'm begining to feel I'm behind the times, missing all the latest movies. I also want to see Garden State sense I'm a Zach Braff fan. Yeah I guess I'll conclude the blog on that note. More talkings later!
